About

Pinewinds Productions is a camera crane rental company supplying Jimmy Jibs for motion picture and television clients, with Peter Dingle as an operator. After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies at the University of Massachusetts in 1977, Peter was employed for six years at two PBS television stations working in all kinds of production roles. In 1983 he went freelance as a camera and lighting specialist. In 1993 after ten highly successful years as a videographer he bought his first Jimmy Jib. With a client base expanding rapidly a second jib was purchased in 1997, the Triangle Jimmy Jib. With an extensive and diverse list of clients, a solid career and reputation has been achieved.
Peter grew up in central Massachusetts. After college he traveled west and secured his first job at KUED-TV in Salt Lake City. Two years later he returned to New England as a producer/director at WGBY-TV in Springfield, Massachusetts. Once going freelance he moved closer to the Boston market. A long-standing love of the Maine coast prompted a move to Cape Neddick, Maine in 2002. He continues to live there in sight of the Atlantic Ocean with his wife of 25 years and daughter, counting his blessings every day.
